Obituary of Lois Agnes Grawe

It’s with nice unhappiness that we announce the passing of Lois Agnes (Becker) Grawe, of Linn Creek, Missouri. She died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Lois was born on October 6, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri and was the daughter of Louis and Agnes (Schmidt) Becker (predeceased) and sister of Robert Becker.

She attended Beaumont Excessive College in St. Louis. Following commencement, she was employed as a Histology Technician at Washington College and later at St. John’s Mercy Hospital (now Mercy Hospital). She was grateful to have had a profession that she liked. Whereas employed full-time, she labored in direction of her bachelor’s diploma. She retired on June 1, 2007.

On June 2, 2007, Lois and Leonard moved to Linn Creek, Missouri. Certainly one of their biggest joys was residing on the lake. They loved many hours on their boat and enjoyable on the dock. Lois was an energetic member and later treasurer at Hope Lutheran Chapel and a devoted volunteer and President of the Board of the Osage Seaside Senior Middle.

Lois was a faithful and loving spouse, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, cat mom, and good friend. She liked journey, images, family tree analysis, all water actions, socializing with mates, and amassing wind chimes.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Leonard; daughters, Vicky Kory and husband Mark, and Elaine Grawe; grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Lauren Kory Ansari, Nichole Grantham (predeceased), Danielle Kory Roman, and Austin Kory; and great-grandchildren, Alexa Smith, Lily Smith, and Ashlyna Smith.

Lois shall be lovingly missed by her husband, household, mates, and the neighborhood. She’s going to reside on in our hearts.

Memorial donations could also be made to Hope Lutheran Chapel.
